Growth Hormone Peptide Therapy
Beginning peptide therapy can initiate an immediate and significant cascade of positive health results that can directly improve cognition, muscle mass, fat percentage, restful sleep and metabolism. All of which is achieved by potentiating the body’s own innate mechanisms.
Human growth hormone is a single chain polypeptide that is secreted by the pituitary gland. It regulates a variety of biological process throughout the body, which is why its benefits are so impactful and wide-ranging. However, as we age, our body’s natural production of GH (Growth Hormone) decreases resulting in a decline in our body’s ability to stimulate tissue repair and regenerate our cells to keep us healthy. This natural decline is responsible for symptoms of aging that include, but are not limited to, loss of muscle mass and bone density, increase in body fat stores, loss of skin elasticity, thinning of hair and poor sleep patterns.
Growth Hormones Peptides do not replace your body’s own growth hormone production, creating a dependence on the therapy. Peptides are secretagogues, which naturally enhance and stimulate your body’s own production of growth hormone.
Our natural GH levels are at their peak when we are 20 years old, then it begins to consistently decline, so by the age of 40, most individual’s GH levels are 40% lower than they were at age 20. Unless it is naturally optimized by LivingYoung Center’s medically-supervised therapy, it will continue to decline, bringing all the signs and symptoms of aging along with it. Our patients who use growth hormone peptide therapy in conjunction with testosterone replacement therapy have experienced incredible results.

Which Peptide is the Best One for You?
Depending on your individual goals, we work with you, using prevention and optimization in the areas of wellness such as: sleep, nutrition, hormones, exercise, diet, inflammation reduction and lifestyle modification to achieve your desired result.
Some of our favorite and most commonly used peptides are:
CJC 1295 / Ipamorelin Peptide
CJC 1295 is 30 amino acid peptide hormone that has shown promising and amazing results as a Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH) analog. Research supports that CJC 1295 stimulates HGH secretion and can provide a steady increase of HGH with minimal effect on cortisol and prolactin levels. This means increased protein synthesis thus promoting growth and fat loss simultaneously.
Another benefit of CJC 1295 is its ability to promote slow wave sleep. Slow wave sleep is also known as deep sleep and is the portion of sleep responsible for the highest level of muscle growth and memory retention. Slow wave sleep decreases significantly with age and also in people who tend to exercise later in the evening. Clinical studies have shown that a once-daily administration of CJC 1295 can induce significantly deeper sleep.
Ipamorelin stands out among the other Growth Hormones Releasing Peptides (GHRP) because of its enhanced specificity. It generates increases in growth hormone secretion, but without the appetite stimulation or an increase in cortisol, acetylcholine, prolactin and aldosterone as seen with other peptides in its class.
The action of CJC 1295 is then potentiated by adding Ipamorelin. This powerful combination works well to maximize the signals to the pituitary in both the production and the release of GH, which is why we like to call it “The Mac Daddy” of peptide therapy.
BPC 157 Peptide
BPC stands for “Body Protecting Compound” and is composed of 15 amino acids. It was discovered as an isolate from human gastric juice. This means it is not a foreign substance, it is naturally present in gastric acid, where it serves to protect and heal the gut. However it is in very small quantities.
When BPC 157 is concentrated it produces a high level of biological healing throughout your entire body. This is why it has gained popularity and given nicknames such as: the “Anti-inflammatory peptide” and the “Anti-ulcer peptide”.
If you have ever been diagnosed with leaky gut, irritable bowel disease (IBD) or any autoimmune conditions then this peptide will offer great benefits to you!
Experimentally, it has been demonstrated to accelerate healing in several different areas of the body, from gastric ulcers and skin wounds to tendon-to-bone injuries and damaged ligaments. Some research points to pain reduction for those that suffer from discomfort due to muscle sprains, tears and other tissue damage such as skin burns.
Research has shown that practically all organ systems appear to benefit from this specific peptide. BPC 157 holds incredible and diverse properties such as being neuroprotective, organoprotective, acts as a free radical scavenger, acts protectively on the endothelium, prevents and reverses thrombus formation, improves gastrointestinal villus height, crypth depth and muscle thickness, all while having a natural anti-depressant, anti-anxiolytic and anti-inflammatory effect.
Thyomisin Alpha 1 Peptide
Top 6 Benefits of Thymosin Alpha 1
- Exhibits antibacterial and antifungal properties
- Increases vaccine effectiveness
- Suppresses tumor growth
- Enhances the function of certain immune cells
- Helps eradicate the unhealthy cells and stop infection or cancer growth
- Strengthens your immune system
This particular peptide is in the Thymosin family and is an excellent immune modulator. Thymosin is a peptide, or small protein, produced naturally by the thymus gland. It is one of several polypeptide hormones secreted by the thymus that controls the maturation of T-cells, which actively participates in the immune response. The thymus is a critical part of your immune system, where individual T-cells are tailored to respond to the millions of bacteria, fungi, or viruses that could invade your body. This peptide is most often given for chronic viral diseases, but has also been shown to increase innate immunity factors and help fight against autoimmune processes. It is given to help control inflammation associated with chronic diseases, which often causes fatigue.
How does it work?
There are two types of T-cells: killer and helper cells. Killer T-cells are responsible for hunting down and destroying our body’s own cells that are cancerous or infected with bacteria or viruses. Thymosin Alpha 1 is thought to modulate the immune system by augmenting T-cell function. This peptied may affect thymocytes by stimulating their differentiation or by converting them to active T-cells.
Thymosin Alpha 1 is in Phase III trials for the treatment of hepatitis C and in Phase II trials for hepatitis B. Additional possible indications are malignant melanoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, drug-resistant tuberculosis, and Di George’s syndrome as well as any chronic cancer or viral disease. Some physicians are using thymosin for chronic fatigue and Lyme disease as well.
What exactly is Peptide Therapy?
Peptide therapy is the targeted use of peptides to produce a specific reaction in the body. Some peptides have been shown to assist with weight loss by stimulating the breakdown of visceral fat. They may also be utilized to reduce inflammation. Some peptides stimulate the production of human growth hormone and are utilized in anti-aging therapies or to increase muscle mass. Peptides are typically administered through the skin as a subcutaneous injection.
How Long Does it Take Anti-aging Peptide Therapy to Work?
Peptide therapy has a “loading” period of 3-6 months before full effects are noticed. Benefits start within the first few weeks and they increase synergistically with continued therapy. Initially, injections are administered more frequently. Once levels become optimal and the benefits are achieved, injection frequencies can be decreased and transitioning to a maintenance protocol is possible.
